Beads of Courage is a nonprofit organization that provides arts-in-medicine.

 

The organization supports over 60,000 children in 240 hospitals in 8 countries. Children are given a bead for each milestone and marker of their treatment in turn creating a literal strand of courage for the obstacles they have faced and overcome on their journey.
